Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information KlearNote.AI, Inc. ("Klearnote," "we," "us") collects when you use klearnote.ai and the Klearnote service, and how we use, share, and protect it.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — the email address you sign in with (directly, or via Google sign-in), and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile image as provided by Google.
• Audio you upload — the stems and mix you submit for restoration, and the stems and masters we generate from them.
• Billing information — for paid plans, billing details are collected and stored by Stripe, our payment processor; Klearnote does not receive or store your full card number.
• Usage information — basic technical data (such as sign-in timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use it

• To operate the service: process your uploads and deliver results;
• To authenticate you and protect your account;
• To bill paid subscriptions and provide customer support;
• To notify you about your account or, if you signed up before launch, to let you know when Klearnote becomes available.

We do not sell your personal information or your audio.

3. Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run Klearnote, under agreements that limit their use of it to that purpose:

• Cloud storage and infrastructure providers, to store and process audio;
• Stripe, to process payments for paid plans;
• Google, if you choose to sign in with a Google account;
• Our email provider, to send account and transactional email.

We disclose information beyond this only if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Klearnote or our users.

4. Data retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded audio and generated results are retained so you can access and re-download them; you can request deletion at any time (see Section 6).

5. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for the site and its APIs. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor — Klearnote's own systems never see your full card number.

6. Your choices and rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated audio, by emailing support@klearnote.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; we honor applicable requests under those laws.

7. Children

Klearnote is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
